[19 Jul 2009|01:40pm] |
So, I'm trying to make a mix CD of love songs for someone, and I want to put the Dolls cover of "I Would For You" on it. However, I bought it on iTunes so apparently it won't burn to the CD or play on someone else's computer or whatever, so could someone upload it for me? :D
TIA!

Here's another article (this time on yahoo news) mentioning N-acetylcysteine for the treatment of trich.
Treatment for Hair-Pulling Shows Success

I am going to GNC tomorrow to get some. I'll try anything... ANYTHING to get rid of this. 22 years with trich is enough.

[13 Jul 2009|03:43am] |
Special Preview! Monday, July 13, 8 p.m. The Arsenal Center for the Arts Black Box 321 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA
Tonight (Monday, July 13) at 8 p.m. is an open dress rehearsal for The Wrathskellar followed by a Q&A session with the audience. Advance sales for tonight are closed (you can buy tickets in advance for other nights), but there are still about 40 seats left. The box office opens at 7 p.m., and accepts cash only. We hope to see you all tonight!

So I was wondering whether anyone in this community has had any professional hair removal done like IPL or laser treatment? How effective has it been? I dont pick from my scalp but I pick everywhere else. I'm also trying to grow back my eyebrows, so does anyone know of anything that would help the cause? Thankyou

THE MEETUP WAS AWESOME
I just want to thank everyone who came out! It was an amazing day, and you are all fabulous. I also wanted to apologize for falling ill during Rocky Horror and being unable to perform. I know you still had a totally rad time since everyone there is so awesome, but I am still sorry I couldn't be awesome for you as well.
But yes, thanks again to all who came, I'll be putting my photos up soon (sadly I am at work now, BOO WORKING SUNDAYS!) You can comment here with links to your own photos so we can cull together one GQMF post for ONTD_ST!

ONTD STAR TREK MEETUP JULY 11th
ugh why do these not actually exist in every store ever? WE ALL NEED THEM
THE MEETUP WILL BE AT 4pm AT THE CORNER OF PARK ST AND TREMONT ST AT THE PARK ST STATION IN THE BOSTON COMMONS I REPEAT: 4pm If you would be more comfortable having my phone number, send me a PM and I will give it to you. I am totally fine taking calls on Saturday to give any directions or help necessary.
I called the NE Aquarium and they said that there will be NO ISSUE of a big group attending the 7pm IMAX showing and that if we show up just like a half-hour early (at least) we will have no problem getting the bestest of seats (though *I* have to sit near the back like a weenie due to limited vision D: ). SO HOORAY! Alas we cannot get a group rate since we'd have to book by Friday, all on one card. So fuck that. Also the Aquarium is only a 15 minute walk from the meetup site, very very easy to get to on foot (to save $) though we can take the subway if that's what people prefer.
PEW PEW KIRK IS ALL PUMPED TO BE TOTALLY GQ ENORMOUS IN ALL OUR FACES. ARE YOU READY FOR THE IMAX ~EXPERIENCE~?
I think the best bet for the meetup is to MEET UP and then do some fun photoshoot hangout in the commons also since people may be arriving at different times), decide if we want a bite to ear prior to the film (Fanuiel Hall is on the way, and has a very crowded but do-able foodcourt style place or like elevenbillion other places on the way), head to the Aquarium for the IMAX, SEE STAR TREK and then those who are attending Rocky can head to Harvard Sq (should be 9pmish by then) for delightful refreshments at any of the stellar places in Harvard Sq prior to the show.
AS FOR ROCKY HORROR: You need to be at the Rocky Horror theater at like 11:30pm to line up outside. I am so so so pumped for this, I have some great Star Trek goodies planned for the show. For those attending via the subway, I will totally lead everyone over to the theater. For those coming by car, if you want to do this, you can park your car in a lot in Harvard Sq for the day, and then move it to street parking before Rocky. I think that might be the best thing to do for those driving in as Harvard Sq is on the same subway line (red) as Park St and would be rather convenient for the meetup.
 YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
FEEL THE LOVE

SO ARE YOU IN OR ARE YOU IN? THIS IS GONNA BE EPIC. There's like at least 15 of us maybe closer to 25 if everyone who says they're coming shows up. WAAAAAT.
